Job Opportunity: Funding Optimisation Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Funding Optimisation Specialist to drive the maximisation of residential aged care funding. This is a full-time opportunity with a 12-month fixed term, with potential for permanency.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and monitoring residential subsidy and funding centred on the ANACC funding model across our residential aged care homes.

This exciting role will see you assist and provide advice to a portfolio of Residential Managers, helping them improve their funding performance, achieve their financial targets, and increase profitability. You will also support the end-to-end admissions and discharge process.

To be considered for this role, you will have:

  • A Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse qualification with current AHPRA registration
  • Knowledge and experience in Aged Care and Aged Care Accreditation
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the Australian National Aged Care Classification (AN-ACC)
  • Experience in training small groups and workplace assessment
  • Previous experience working with the Aged Care Funding Instrument (ACFI)
  • High-level written and oral communication skills, with expertise in documentation and investigative skills
  • Solid organisational skills, including multitasking and time-management, with ability to meet deadlines
  • An Australian Driver's Licence and commitment to frequent travel across our sites
  • Sound technology skills, literate in MS Office, Excel, Outlook 365
