Optimise Funding for Better Outcomes

As a specialist in funding optimisation, you will play a pivotal role in driving the maximisation of residential funding.

The goal is to deliver a positive impact for all residents by maintaining and monitoring residential subsidy and funding centred on the ANACC funding model across NSW/ACT residential aged care homes.

You will work collaboratively as part of a team of consultants, providing expert advice to Residential Managers to improve their funding performance, achieve financial targets, and increase profitability. Additionally, you will support the end-to-end admissions and discharge process.

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • A degree in a relevant field such as Nursing or Business, and suitable current registration with AHPRA.
  • Demonstrable knowledge and experience in Aged Care and Aged Care Accreditation.
  • Thorough understanding of the Australian National Aged Care Classification (AN-ACC).
  • Experience in training small groups and workplace assessment.
  • Previous experience working with the Aged Care Funding Instrument (ACFI).
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including documentation and investigative skills.
  • Solid organisational skills, including multitasking and time-management, with the ability to meet deadlines.
  • A valid Drivers Licence and commitment to occasional travel across sites.
  • Sound technology skills, literate in MS Office, Excel, Outlook 365.
