Workforce Planning Specialist Opportunity
The People and Culture Division is responsible for providing strategic leadership and operational implementation of human resource strategies relating to a diverse range of human resource and industrial relations functions across Canberra Health Services.
The role involves working closely with other Canberra Health Services divisions to deliver strategically-aligned workforce solutions in areas including change management, diversity and inclusion, learning and development, industrial and employee relations, pay and benefits, rewards and talent acquisition.
The specialist will be accountable for workforce planning for assigned areas to respond to strategic priorities and to inform system wide actions to meet future workforce outcomes.
The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex information to various stakeholders.
The role requires strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of human resource principles and practices, with experience in workforce planning and analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement workforce plans that align with organizational strategic objectives.
- Analyse data and trends to inform workforce decisions and recommendations.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to design and deliver training programs and initiatives.
- Provide coaching and guidance to employees on performance management and development.
- Conduct research and analysis to inform policy development and recommendations.
