Workforce Planning Specialist Role

We are seeking an experienced workforce planning specialist to oversee a national workforce support function.

  • This newly created role will lead workforce planning, demand forecasting, and resourcing strategies across multiple states.
  • You will be responsible for overseeing national rostering, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and employee wellbeing.
  • Drive productivity benchmarking and workforce optimisation initiatives.
  • Deliver continuous improvement in rostering and scheduling systems.
  • Partner with senior stakeholders to embed data-driven workforce strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with employment agreements, awards, fair work, and fatigue management policies.
About You

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 20+ years' experience in workforce management across multi-site industries (retail, FMCG, hospitality, healthcare or similar).
  • Expertise in labour modelling, payroll budgeting, and workforce compliance.
  • A proven track record of leading centralised workforce support functions, including productivity and rostering teams.
  • Strong understanding of industrial relations frameworks and experience with employment agreements.
  • Inspirational leadership and coaching skills, with the ability to build capability in others.
