About the Role

As a Rehabilitation Consultant, you will play a critical role in supporting clients through their rehabilitation journey. You will conduct occupational therapy-specific assessments, perform worksite and ergonomic evaluations, and provide equipment prescription support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct occupational therapy-specific assessments, including Activity of Daily Living, Attendant Care, Modified Bartel Index, and functional upgrading evaluations.
  • Perform worksite and ergonomic evaluations to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
  • Provide equipment prescription support to clients in their home and office environments.
  • Collaborate with a national Occupational Therapist technical specialist to stay up-to-date with best practices and industry developments.
  • Work as part of a local multidisciplinary team, including Exercise Physiologists, Physiotherapists, and Social Workers.
Requirements
  • AHPRA registration and a tertiary degree in Occupational Therapy or a related field.
  • A commitment to delivering exceptional client outcomes and a passion for helping people navigate complex rehabilitation plans.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
  • A willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and industry developments.
