Your New RoleAs a Rehabilitation Consultant, you will be inducted through an extensive training program based at our head office in Sydney, with ongoing support from your team leader and buddy system.
You will build up to managing your own portfolio of clients with their return to work plan by:
- Managing a portfolio of return-to-work files
- Completing one-off assessments and making recommendations
- Attending medical appointments and communicating complex medical information back to insurer customers
- Initial assessments, workplace assessments, ADL assessments
- Writing insurance reports
- Communicating with injured worker, employer, Doctor and other medical professionals to ensure appropriate intervention
- Facilitating a safe and timely graduated return to work plan
- Documenting case notes as part of reporting and compliance requirements
We're looking for a Tertiary qualified Exercise Physiologist with Full registration with ESSA, a car and valid Driver's license, and a Police check or willingness to obtain a police check prior to commencement.
You should have exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills, and the ability to work autonomously and within a team environment.
