Senior Risk Assurance Specialist

Delivering assurance reviews is a vital aspect of our team's responsibilities. Key risk insights are generated on the effective design and operation of controls to meet our prudential obligations.
- We work with stakeholders across various divisions and lines of business, key business partners including Group Audit, external audit, Divisional Chief Risk Officer (CRO), and other 2nd Line teams.
- Reviews and testing controls for design and operating effectiveness to meet prudential obligations/requirements are executed, assessing whether prudential risks are appropriately managed.
- Ongoing enhancements to the Prudential Assurance testing approach, stakeholder engagement, and review planning are identified.
Requirements
- A minimum of 4+ years of experience in assurance, audit, or risk advisory roles related to credit risk or auditing credit prudential standards in a financial services organisation is required.
- Data analytics and technology audit skills are essential.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate, are necessary.
- Problem-solving and time management skills are also crucial.
- The ability to interpret Prudential obligation requirements is vital.
