Job Title: Senior Risk Assurance Specialist

  • You will lead the redefinition of quality standards in 2nd Line Risk Assurance, aligning with regulatory changes and evolving risk management practices.

  • Develop methodologies, training, and quality frameworks to optimize processes.

  • Act as a project manager to coordinate annual assurance testing and transformation initiatives.

  • Conduct independent reviews and evaluations throughout the change process, challenging the status quo.

  • Maintain updates to the Risk and Compliance Assurance Manual, ensuring tools and methods are effective.

  • Hold stakeholders accountable across the 3 lines of defense, up to Head-of level, for responsible enhancement of risk frameworks.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in Financial Services, preferably in assurance, risk, compliance, or quality assurance.

  • Demonstrable ability to standardize and optimize controls effectively.

  • Outstanding project coordination skills to plan, roll out, and drive change in complex financial institutions.

  • Potential leadership skills to recruit and manage a team.

  • Relevant qualifications are desirable (e.g., CA, CISA, CIA, FRM, MBA).

  • Technical aptitudes in data analytics, business intelligence, automation are advantageous.
