Performance Insights Advisor

Job Description
The role of Performance Insights Advisor will focus on delivering high-quality performance reporting to inform strategic decision-making. This will involve leading our reporting function, developing and maintaining reports to ensure legislative requirements are met, and collaborating with the executive team to drive innovation in reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain performance reports aligned with the Council Plan.
- Collaborate with the finance department to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Work closely with the digital and technology services department to enhance operational efficiency through continuous improvement.
Requirements
Applicants should have a strong background in performance measurement, monitoring and reporting, along with relevant experience in corporate planning and reporting applications.
Proven expertise in delivering accurate and timely performance reporting is essential, as well as exceptional interpersonal, written communication and presentation skills.
A comprehensive understanding of how to navigate legislative and regulatory requirements governing local government is also required.
Knowledge of Microsoft Power BI and ability to work collaboratively across departments are highly desirable.
