ERP Implementation Role Overview:

This position involves coordinating the implementation of an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. The role is responsible for process mapping, capturing notes and actions from each implementation step, and managing action plans with the NetSuite team to resolve any issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • NetSuite Change Management
  • Assisting teams in understanding the impact of ERP migration
  • Conducting gap analysis between existing processes and future processes defined in NetSuite
  • Defining the impact on associated tasks using future processes
  • Implementing Project Management Office (PMO) principles
  • Designing and implementing PMO standards and methods
  • Providing ongoing communication on project progress
  • Identifying training needs
  • Managing risks involved in the project through risk analysis
  • Analyzing and following up on corrective actions
  • Stakeholder management
  • Communicating with managers not directly in the NetSuite project team on organizational and system changes
  • Coordinating master data preparation and cleanup from the old system to the new
  • Reviewing the Business Requirements Document
  • Organizing regular Work Management System (WMS) specific meetings and workshops
  • IT tasks: attending supplier project meetings for all interfaces
  • IT purchases: scoping and buying hardware for WMS setup
  • B2B portal development
  • Leading weekly on-site project team meetings for updates
  • Weekly meetings with the NetSuite central team
  • Specific meetings with NetSuite consultants
  • Testing and validation in a sandbox environment
  • Validation of uploads of master data in the production environment
