Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Quality and Safety Leader to join our team. As the driving force behind maintaining exceptional quality, safety, and compliance in your centre, you will be responsible for mentoring and inspiring educators to drive excellence in practice.

You will ensure that our environments are safe, compliant, and exceptional places for learning and growth. This role requires strong leadership skills, with the ability to champion a child-safe culture where every child feels seen, heard, and protected.

To achieve this, you will embed high-quality practices that align with the National Quality Standard, particularly in Quality Areas 2, 3, 4 & 6. You will also mentor and support educators through coaching, reflection, and hands-on guidance.

Additionally, you will drive continuous improvement using the Quality Improvement Plan (QIP) and prepare your centre for Assessment & Rating. Building strong, trusting relationships with families and the local community is also essential.

Requirements
  • Diploma or higher in Early Childhood Education & Care.
  • Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis certificates.
  • Working With Children Check (WWCC).
  • Mandatory Reporting and Food Safety Training.
  • Deep understanding of the NQF, Child Safe Standards, and EYLF.
  • Experience in coaching, mentoring, or leading teams in early education (preferred).
