Key Leadership Position: We are seeking a General Manager to lead our Cell Therapeutics facility in achieving optimal operating efficiency and driving business growth.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the leadership of a diverse, cross-functional team in activities including Quality Control & Assurance and Manufacturing. They will also identify and follow through on business development opportunities in collaboration with members of the management team to align resources and review strategic objectives.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience of leadership in a scientific/technical/clinical context and be adept at leading with a shared vision and mission. A degree, and ideally postgraduate qualifications, in science, biological science or medical science will underpin their relevant career experience.

This is a role for a leader with the ambition to influence and direct the activities of a key business unit with significant potential. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting ground-breaking discoveries that save lives globally.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead the Cell Therapeutics facility to achieve optimal operating efficiency and drive business growth.
  • Oversee the leadership of a diverse, cross-functional team in activities including Quality Control & Assurance and Manufacturing.
  • Identify and follow through on business development opportunities in collaboration with members of the management team to align resources and review strategic objectives.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure effective communication and stakeholder engagement.
