Operations Excellence Role

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead operational excellence initiatives, driving meaningful impact across our distribution and prefabrication operations.

About The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and mentor teams in our Facilities Excellence Model (FEM)
  • Deliver Continuous Improvement projects using Lean & Six Sigma methodologies
  • Analyse workflows, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to enhance safety, efficiency, and service
  • Support ERP initiatives; governance, data, reporting, and training
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to integrate improvements across operations
  • Provide hands-on support during peak times and trial new processes
  • Act as the local liaison for IT support & coordination to ensure technology supports operations
  • Conduct post-implementation reviews to ensure measurable outcomes and sustainability
About You

Are you a solutions-focused professional with the confidence to influence at all levels, while also comfortable rolling up your sleeves? Do you have:

  • 5+ years' experience in operations, manufacturing, supply chain or distribution?
  • A proven track record as a Lean/Continuous Improvement practitioner (Green Belt or higher desirable)?
  • Strong knowledge of Australian WHS legislation and embedding safety-first practices?
  • Skilled in data analysis, ERP systems (SAP, M3 or similar), Microsoft Office & process mapping tools?
  • A collaborative, adaptable, and hands-on approach; balancing strategy with execution?
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement, mentoring, and communication skills?
