Compliance Expert - Payroll Operations

This role drives best practice across payroll processes and controls. The Compliance Expert works across the business to ensure regulatory compliance between the payroll function and Workplace Relations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead initiatives to ensure accuracy, integrity, and regulatory alignment of payroll operations.
  • Develop a comprehensive payroll compliance framework across key stakeholder groups responsible for configuring enterprise agreements into related systems.
  • Ensure payroll systems, processes, and operational requirements are compliant with Enterprise Agreements, Industrial Awards, policies, and legislation.
Requirements:
  • Payroll operations or analyst background (Essential)
  • Experience in healthcare is desirable
  • Demonstrated understanding of payroll compliance principles
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret and understand relevant industrial awards and agreements and related legislative obligations
