**Job Overview:**

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Linen Officer to join our team.

As a Linen Officer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients, staff, volunteers, and visitors.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining a clean hazard-free environment in line with NSW Health Environmental Cleaning Policy.
  • Providing excellent communication skills to work effectively independently and in a group environment.
  • Experience in cleaning within healthcare, commercial, or industrial settings with knowledge of Infection Prevention principles and Work Health and Safety legislation.

The ideal candidate will have experience working a 7-day roster, including weekends and public holidays, with flexibility to work morning, afternoon, and night shifts as required according to patient flow needs.

**About the Role:**

Linen Officers work in a fast-paced and active environment collecting and delivering linen throughout the facility.

Working within a small team, you will report directly to the Leading Hand of the Linen Department.

**What You Will Need:**

Effective verbal and written communication skills

Ability to work effectively both independently and in a group environment

Experience in cleaning within healthcare, commercial, or industrial settings with knowledge of Infection Prevention principles and Work Health and Safety legislation

Ability to navigate and use computer systems for online training, updating rosters through HealthRoster, and managing HRIS via Stafflink
