About the Position- Support the reunification of families involved with Child Protection services.
- Enhance attachments between children and parents through supportive interventions.
- Strengthen the caring and parenting abilities of caregivers.
- Facilitate family engagement with their community.
- Collaborate with Child Protection services to address concerns.
- Client-focused, building strong relationships through rapport, trust, and effective communication.
- Knowledge of relevant statutory requirements for Child Protection matters.
- Implement outcome measures according to service guidelines and accountability agreements.
- Understanding of child safety issues and appropriate responses to domestic violence, child abuse, and self-harm.
- Ability to complete concise, factual reports for Child Protection services.
- Provide skill-based education to meet client goals.
- Intake, assessment, support, information, and referral of eligible clients.
- Conduct regular service delivery reviews to ensure client needs are met efficiently and effectively.
