This is a critical role in delivering culturally appropriate services to families affected by domestic and family violence.
We are seeking an experienced specialist to work collaboratively with the Intensive Family Support team, helping to embed a strong DFV lens across all aspects of service delivery.
About the Role- Actively screen and assess incoming referrals for indicators of DFV, ensuring risk assessments are completed and safety plans developed when necessary.
- Provide advice on safety planning, including safe engagement and risk management strategies for families affected by domestic and family violence.
- Contribute to and review case plans for implementation of family violence safety plans and therapeutic interventions.
- Holds a tertiary degree in a relevant discipline (Human Services) or related field.
- Demonstrated knowledge of family and domestic violence, including experience in leading a team to achieve service performance outcomes together.
- Experience in providing successful service delivery to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
