Gallery Director Opportunity

We are seeking a passionate and experienced arts and culture professional to lead the Singleton Arts & Cultural Centre as our next Gallery Director.

About the Role
  • Develop and deliver engaging exhibitions, events, and public programs that inspire our community and draw new audiences.
  • Lead a creative team focused on access, inclusion, and impact.
  • Build partnerships with artists, organisations, and funding bodies.
  • Manage resources and budgets to support sustainable service delivery.
  • Promote the Arts & Cultural Centre as a vibrant cultural destination.
  • Provide expert advice to internal stakeholders and external partners.
About You
  • You'll be a confident leader and curator of ideas with a strong background in the gallery or cultural sector.
  • You thrive on collaboration and understand what it takes to run a high-quality arts venue in a regional context.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in visual arts, arts management, or museum/gallery practice.
  • Proven experience delivering exhibitions and public programs in a public gallery or similar institution.
  • Strong leadership, project management, and budgeting skills.
  • A track record of growing diverse audiences through arts initiatives.
  • Experience securing grants and external funding.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
