We're looking for an experienced arts and culture professional to lead the Singleton Arts & Cultural Centre (SACC) as our next Coordinator Arts and Culture.

This is a leadership position that combines vision, strategy, and delivery. It offers the chance to shape a growing regional arts centre with national ambition.

  • Develop engaging exhibitions, events, and public programs that inspire our community and draw new audiences
  • Lead a team focused on access, inclusion, and impact
  • Built meaningful partnerships with artists, organisations, and funding bodies
  • Manage resources and funding applications to support service delivery
  • Promote the Arts & Cultural Centre as a cultural destination and enhance its visibility
  • Provide expert advice to stakeholders and the Advisory Group
Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  1. Curating and delivering innovative exhibitions and programs that meet the needs of our community
  2. Leading a high-performing team and developing their skills and capabilities
  3. Fostering strong relationships with local artists, arts organisations and funding bodies
  4. Managing budgets and securing funding to support the Centre's activities
  5. Enhancing the Centre's profile and reputation within the region
About You

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  1. A degree in a relevant field such as arts management, museum studies or a related discipline
  2. Significant experience in arts administration, preferably in a senior leadership role
  3. Demonstrated expertise in project management, budgeting and fundraising
  4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  5. A passion for arts and culture and a commitment to community development
