Account Manager Role

This is an exciting opportunity to oversee the full management of allocated customer account responsibilities.

The successful candidate will be responsible for acquiring and establishing client relationships with their client portfolio, identifying additional revenue streams from existing accounts, and bringing on new customers within the 'Direct' customer channel.

Working closely with customers to determine and explore potential solutions through anticipation of their business growth needs.

  • Focus on warm leads only to drive new business: lead generator partners, non-accredited broker partners, marketing leads.
  • Small portfolio of 100-200 accounts, with a focus on acquisition and portfolio management.
  • Work out of opportunities inbox, lead queue on Salesforce.
  • Standalone role with potential for future expansion into its own function.
  • Actively manage and maintain relationships with allocated Shift customers.

Responsibilities include responding to and problem-solving customer queries via email and phone, completing due diligence associated with establishment of new accounts, and ongoing management of existing accounts.

Collaboration with other operational teams across the business to manage customer needs and challenges.

Qualifications include a business or finance degree (beneficial but not essential), demonstrated relationship management/sales experience in a professional services setting, proven experience managing pipeline of existing customers and potential leads, customer support/representative experience, and strong understanding of financial services (ideally lending).
