Transform Lives as a Disability Support Professional

We are seeking a passionate and caring individual to provide daily living supports and promote independence for individuals with disabilities in the Brunswick area.

As a Disability Support Worker, you will work closely with clients to enable them to live fulfilling lives. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Meal preparation and cooking
  • Light domestic assistance
  • Community participation: accompanying participants on outings, appointments and social engagements
  • Assistance at home: meal preparation and housekeeping
  • Transporting participants to their required destinations
  • Submitting progress notes for every shift, following the template provided
  • Building rapport and providing exceptional services
  • Assisting in participants goals and aspirations

To succeed in this role, you will need to have:

  • Experience in disability care and the NDIS
  • Fluent and strong verbal and written communication
  • A positive attitude and ability to take initiative
  • The ability to work unsupervised and part of a team
  • Updated First Aid & CPR certification
  • A valid Driver's License
  • Certificate III and/or Certificate IV in Disability
  • Own car with comprehensive insurance
  • Current Police Check
  • NDIS Worker Screener Check
  • ABN
  • COVID-19 Infection Control Training
  • COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate
  • NDIS Module Certificate
