Empowering Lives: Disability Support Worker Role

 

We're seeking an individual passionate about empowering people with disabilities to live fulfilling lives. As a Disability Support Worker, you'll play a vital role in delivering person-centred care and support based on individual needs and support plans.

 

About the Role:

You will be responsible for assisting individuals with daily living tasks, personal care, and community access. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering high-quality, person-centred care and support
  • Assisting with daily living tasks and personal care
  • Completing accurate progress notes and documentation
  • Working collaboratively with internal care teams and families to achieve great outcomes

 

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A minimum of 8 months of experience in disability or community support
  • Clear communication skills and a respectful, compassionate approach
  • Flexibility, reliability, and availability across weekdays and weekends
  • A positive, outgoing attitude and strong sense of responsibility

 

Mandatory Requirements:

You must hold:

  • Current Australian Working Rights
  • National Police Check
  • Working With Children Check (WWCC)
  • Driver's Licence, reliable vehicle & comprehensive insurance
  • NDIS Worker Orientation Module
  • Infection Control Training
  • First Aid & CPR certification
