We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Disability Support Worker to join our team in Residential Accommodation. In this rewarding role, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of adults with disabilities, empowering them to achieve their goals and live as independently as possible.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing personalized support to residents with daily living activities, including meal preparation, personal hygiene, and mobility.
  • Assisting residents with shopping, attending appointments, and participating in community events.
  • Supporting residents in achieving their individual goals, promoting independence and dignity.

Requirements:

  • A positive approach, initiative, and self-motivation.
  • Effective communication skills and good English literacy to communicate well with residents.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse team.
  • Willingness to support residents with personal care activities.
  • Australian Driver License and NDIS Worker Screening Check clearance.
  • First Aid and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation certificate (if not already held).
