About Your New Role

The Chief Financial Strategist will play a critical role in shaping our financial strategy, providing strategic direction, and ensuring sound financial management. This is a high-impact position that requires a leader with exceptional financial acumen, strong analytical skills, and the ability to influence decisions at the executive level. You will drive financial strategy, manage risk, and ensure compliance while fostering a culture of accountability and financial excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development and execution of our financial strategy in alignment with overall business objectives.
  • Oversee the preparation of financial reports, budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial planning.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to the executive team to support strategic decision-making.
  • Ensure robust financial controls, policies, and procedures are in place to manage risk and compliance.
  • Manage and optimise cash flow, working capital, and financial resources to ensure our financial stability.
  • Lead financial due diligence for mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic investments.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders across departments to enhance operational efficiency and profitability.
  • Monitor and manage relationships with external stakeholders, including auditors, banks, and regulators.
  • Lead and mentor the finance team, ensuring continuous development and high performance.
  • Implement and maintain financial systems and tools to streamline processes and improve reporting accuracy.


About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • CA or CPA qualification.
  • A proven track record in a senior finance role (FC/HOF/CFO) and experience in the hire / rental sector.
  • Strong leadership and strategic thinking skills with a hands-on approach to solving complex financial challenges.
  • Expertise in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and risk management.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Experience in managing and developing high-performing teams.
