We are seeking a highly experienced and commercially focused Chief Financial Officer to join our team at West Recruitment Pty Ltd. As a key member of the Executive Leadership Team, you will play a critical role in driving the company's growth and strategic direction.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with the company's growth objectives.
- Collaborate with the Executive Leadership Team to formulate and implement business plans.
- Oversee all financial operations, including P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, and Year-end reporting.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Lead the annual budgeting process and monthly forecasting activities.
- Analyse variances between actual results and budget/forecast and provide actionable insights.
- Implement strategies to increase revenue and balance the revenue distribution across the group.
- Identify new business opportunities and revenue streams.
- Monitor and control operational costs, identifying opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.
- Manage cash flow to ensure liquidity and financial stability.
- Optimize working capital and manage credit facilities.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the finance and technology teams.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.
- Build and maintain strong business partnering relationships with key stakeholders.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
- Enhance financial systems, processes, and controls, ensuring they support the company's growth and operational efficiency.
- Drive operational improvements and streamline processes across the organization.
- Maintain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
- Present financial results and strategic initiatives to the Board and other key stakeholders.
- Lead change initiatives and transformation projects across the organization.
We are looking for a highly experienced and commercially focused CFO with a proven track record of successfully operating at the CFO level in a fast-paced environment. You will have a high level of commercial acumen, supported the strategic growth of the business, and driven transformation initiatives. You will be CA or CPA qualified and have experience in the manufacturing or construction sector.
