Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and professional Porter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering exceptional customer service and a strong desire to achieve goals and targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide top-notch customer service by responding promptly and efficiently to guest requests.
  • Promote hotel facilities through strong product knowledge and up-selling opportunities.
  • Maintain high levels of professionalism, adhere to procedures, and ensure confidentiality is maintained at all times.
  • Attend to guest requests with a focus on total guest satisfaction.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Guest services: provide valet parking, luggage assistance, and book activities as required.
  • Process credit and cash transactions, maintain accounting documentation, and perform other administrative tasks.
  • Demonstrate flexibility with regards to shifts and be willing to work rotating rosters including mornings, nights, and weekends.
  • Ensure impeccable grooming and presentation at all times.
Requirements
  • Previous experience as a Guest Service Agent, Porter, or Valet is desirable but not essential.
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail are necessary.
  • Flexibility, adaptability, and a willingness to learn are key attributes for this role.
  • A full, clean, and current Australian driver's license is required.
