As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in supporting the implementation of our Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) across all directorates and regions.
Key Responsibilities- Support the development and implementation of strategies to promote cultural safety and reconciliation within our organization.
- Collaborate with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander staff and stakeholders to ensure the effective delivery of our RAP.
- Monitor and evaluate key deliverables, including the development of reports and recommendations for improvement.
- Support the maintenance of a vibrant organization-wide Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander staff network.
- Help prepare workplaces to provide culturally supportive work environments for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander employees.
- Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated experience developing collaborative relationships with Aboriginal people and high-level stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience in the development, management, and evaluation of successful Aboriginal employment programs.
- Ability to manage projects and demonstrated experience coordinating, mentoring, and managing small groups.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, with the demonstrated ability to prepare a variety of reports.
- A commitment to and a deep understanding of the Vision, Mission, and Values of the St Vincent de Paul Society and those accessing its services.
