Front of House Manager Job Description

The Marina Cafe seeks a skilled and enthusiastic individual to fill this key role. As a member of our front-of-house team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring seamless day-to-day operations.

Responsibilities:
  1. Prepare restaurant tables with attention to sanitation and order
  2. Attend to customers upon entrance and ensure their needs are met throughout their dining experience
  3. Organize and manage bookings, present menus, serve, and help customers select food and beverages
  4. Makes suggestions based on customer preferences and daily specials
  5. Take and serve food and drinks orders, up-sell when appropriate, and arrange table settings
  6. Keep tables clean and tidy at all times and manage employees and meal breaks

Requirements:

  • Proven restaurant serving experience (barista experience beneficial)
  • Attention to cleanliness and safety
  • Patience and customer-oriented approach
  • Responsible and trustworthy
  • Multitasking and attention to detail
