Front of House Manager Job Description
The Marina Cafe seeks a skilled and enthusiastic individual to fill this key role. As a member of our front-of-house team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring seamless day-to-day operations.
Responsibilities:- Prepare restaurant tables with attention to sanitation and order
- Attend to customers upon entrance and ensure their needs are met throughout their dining experience
- Organize and manage bookings, present menus, serve, and help customers select food and beverages
- Makes suggestions based on customer preferences and daily specials
- Take and serve food and drinks orders, up-sell when appropriate, and arrange table settings
- Keep tables clean and tidy at all times and manage employees and meal breaks
Requirements:
- Proven restaurant serving experience (barista experience beneficial)
- Attention to cleanliness and safety
- Patience and customer-oriented approach
- Responsible and trustworthy
- Multitasking and attention to detail
