Director Role

We seek an accomplished Director to drive technological advancement across the department.

This 12-month opportunity plays a pivotal role in fostering innovation, executing enhancement projects and aligning with strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage teams to plan, monitor and deliver work programs.
  • Guide and develop staff while fostering collaboration and continuous improvement aligned with APS values.
  • Support project coordination, ensuring timely delivery, quality standards and compliance with governance frameworks.
  • Engage with stakeholders to build partnerships, manage expectations and negotiate solutions.
  • Monitor and report on project performance, risks and benefits realisation to senior leadership.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, collaborating effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

This role is open to Commonwealth employees only, located in Canberra, Australia.
