Strategic Leadership Opportunity

The Deputy Director – Engagements plays a pivotal role in providing strategic advice and support to senior-level engagements, both domestically and internationally.

This position leads on key thematic and/or geographical areas and supports Joint Capabilities Group (JCG) engagements across space and cyber domains, joint logistics, and national support.

Primary responsibilities include the development and coordination of policy, as well as planning and execution of international engagements up to 4-Star level, to meet Defence's strategic outcomes.

Operating with significant independence, this role may work with or lead an integrated team of ADF and APS members.

Collaboration with various stakeholders, including other government departments, agencies, industry partners, and international partners, is essential to achieving priorities.
