Job Title: Network Professional

This is a highly technical role where you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service by working on Metro Ethernet Forum, Live Network Environment and configuring VLAN configurations on the ASR switches using NSO Scripting.

  • Configure VLAN configurations on the ASR switches using NSO Scripting
  • Configure port configurations on the ASR switches and terminating at customer premises
  • Configure Lags on ASR switches through IP-RDM according to the design
  • Configure VPLS and VLL Circuits
  • Configure of customer end NTU switches which involves MRV:-OS-904, OS-906, OS-940, UNTU,Z4806 and also building aggregation switches and the head end devices like OS-940, OS9244, and OS9124.
  • Create customized start-up configuration file and provision custom start-up templates
  • Add Devices to pro-vision and polling of devices using pro-vision
  • Sync devices to provision and troubleshooting
  • Add NTU/AS Egress NNI shaping (EoSDH Links)-EoSDH Link setup
  • Service commissioning Testing- Port commands, Traffic Test, Remote meps, Ethernet loopback test, 802.1ag link trace, bandwidth test, configuration test
  • Pro-Actively performing on the activities and cutovers
  • Adhere to the MOP's shared and follow the procedures involved
  • Handle multiple applications or database effectively to remove customer asset records
  • Creating, maintain, and following technical procedures and documentation
  • Working closely with external and internal technical teams involved
Requirements

A Bachelor of Technology Graduation and CCNA Certified are required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are also needed. Exposure in the Telstra network arena and proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and SharePoint are advantageous.
