Site Operations Director

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead underground construction operations across multiple site locations.
- Implement and maintain a proactive safety-first culture while upholding high quality and environmental standards.
- Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and subcontractors to manage tight schedules and shifting priorities.
- Direct and motivate cross-functional teams to deliver results on time and to specification.
- Oversee QA/QC processes and proactively mitigate risks with effective strategies.
- Monitor costs to ensure efficient delivery within allocated resources.
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with internal teams, on-site personnel, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure alignment.
Requirements:
- A degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- 15-20 years of hands-on experience delivering major civil infrastructure projects, with extensive exposure to underground works, tunnelling, or similar heavy construction environments.
- 7+ years of experience in a Construction Management or similar role.
- Proven track record of leading large-scale projects across multiple disciplines.
- Experience managing contracts and project budgets.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong stakeholder management capabilities.
- Commitment to ensuring safety, quality, and environmental standards are met.
