Job Overview

This is a senior leadership role that involves overseeing the operations of a mine site. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of skilled employees and ensuring that key performance metrics are met.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of highly skilled site-based employees to achieve operational excellence
  • Maintain key site performance metrics, including technology availability, production metrics, operating costs and safety records
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop new products and services that meet customer needs
  • Provide strategic direction on equipment selection, product problem management and equipment management activities
Requirements:
  • University degree in Mining Engineering or related field
  • Experience with MineStar Technology an advantage
  • Relevant experience in technology or mining fields
Key Skills:
  • Customer Focus: knowledge of techniques for aligning customer needs and satisfaction as primary considerations in business decisions
  • Consulting skills: knowledge of approaches, tools and techniques for providing technical or business guidance to clients
  • Effective Communication: understanding of concepts, tools and techniques for communicating effectively
  • Problem Solving: knowledge of approaches, tools and techniques for recognizing, anticipating and resolving organizational, operational or process problems
  • Relationship Management: knowledge of relationship management techniques

This is a Fly in Fly out role based in Indonesia, with a commencing roster of 2 weeks on site / 1 week off / 3 weeks remote from Australia offices. The successful candidate must be able to obtain a KTAS Visa for Indonesia.
