Australian Military Bank is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join its team. With a strong focus on delivering exceptional results, this role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment.

About the Role

The Project Manager will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive project plans, particularly for testing and implementation stages. This includes monitoring and controlling project progress, identifying potential risks and issues, and implementing mitigation strategies to maintain project timelines and quality.

The successful candidate will ensure that project deliverables meet regulatory requirements and comply with industry best practices. Additionally, they will identify and engage with key project stakeholders, including business units, Executives, and external partners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, particularly for testing and implementation stages
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including Testing and Implementation documentation
  • Prepare and present regular project status updates to relevant stakeholders
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Solid understanding of the banking industry (desirable)
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Sound technical specification writing/documentation skills
  • An appreciation of both IT and business strategy
  • Fantastic stakeholder management, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
  • Passionate self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment
  • Problem solver who can operate under pressure
  • Superior time management skills and commitment to timelines
