About The Role
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven professional to join our team on a twelve-month contract. In this exciting role, you will provide vital support to site operations - helping to deliver continuous improvement and innovation across the site to improve cost outcomes, quality, safety and engagement in the site workforce.
Detailed responsibilities include ensuring compliance with all internal SHE systems and relevant safety, health and environment legislation, providing support with day-to-day quality activities, supporting continuous improvement initiatives on site, site level engineering inputs for plant/equipment, engineering calculations for production requirements, production planning, assisting with cost inputs to sales estimates.
About You
- Tertiary qualified in Mechanical, Civil or other relevant Engineering disciplines.
- Practical experience in the prestress, precast or reinforced concrete industry will be highly regarded but experience in related industries e.g. civil construction/ heavy industrial manufacturing and similar also considered.
- Interested in Project Management, delivering projects from infancy to final completion.
- A sound understanding of Process Improvement/ CI principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SAP and CAD would be highly advantageous.
- Able to work to tight deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving ability and an ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
- Excellent customer focus
- Highly effective communication skills.
