Senior Corporate Governance Officer

About this role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Corporate Governance Officer to join our team at Pacific Partnerships. As a key member of our governance team, you will provide expert advice and support to our executive management, board members, and operating companies.
Key responsibilities:
- Board Administration: Manage the preparation and circulation of agendas, minutes, and other governance papers for the CIMIC Group Board and Committees.
- Compliance and Ethics Management: Ensure the maintenance of statutory registers and the preparation and filing of statutory forms with authorities.
- Annual Reporting: Coordinate the preparation and review of the Annual Reporting Committee meetings and reports.
- Systems and Processes: Manage the Diligent Entities and Diligent Boards systems across the Group.
- General & Adhoc Duties: Provide general company secretarial support and advice to the business, including maintaining registers and providing guidance on governance practices.
Requirements:
- Minimum of eight years' experience in a similar role in a large complex organisation.
- Strong understanding of corporate governance principles and practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Sound knowledge of electronic corporate register processes and systems.
