Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Company Secretary to provide expert corporate secretarial services and governance advice to our diverse client base.

About the Role

This role is ideal for candidates with a strong background in corporate governance, who can deliver top-tier guidance and build trusted relationships with Boards and senior executives. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with our clients to achieve high standards in governance and contribute to impactful corporate governance initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Management: Deliver technically precise advice on the Corporations Act, ASX Listing Rules, and best practices; attend Board and Committee meetings, preparing accurate minutes; manage annual reporting, draft meeting notices, and oversee member meeting logistics.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate effectively with Directors, senior executives, regulators, and external advisors; engage confidently with diverse stakeholders, demonstrating a deep understanding of their needs and interests.
  • People Leadership: Mentor and support team members within our company, fostering an environment of growth and collaboration.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated experience in an ASX-listed company secretarial, legal, or finance role, or with a top-tier law firm supporting ASX-listed clients.
  • Strong expertise in ASX Listing Rules, particularly in continuous disclosure, and comprehensive knowledge of the Corporations Act.
  • Proven ability to prioritize effectively, manage multiple clients and projects, and make sound judgments under pressure.
  • Exceptional attention to detail in all aspects of company secretarial and governance work.
  • Outstanding communication skills (both verbal and written), with a proven ability to engage with a diverse group of stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated commitment to teamwork, collaboration, and delivering high-quality outcomes.
