Job Overview

About the Role

This is a contract role till February 2025 with possible extension. The successful candidate will support the implementation and management of ethics, compliance, and risk management policies, strategies, and governance processes.

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide expert advice on diverse corporate governance issues, including statutory requirements, government policy, ethics, conduct, risk management, compliance, and governance best practices.
  • Promote a culture of effective governance by delivering training and other learning resources to improve knowledge and assist managers and staff with ethical conduct and risk management.
  • Review and process internal reports, allegations, and related disclosures, including undertaking investigations, reviews, and assessments.
  • Maintain, analyze, record governance information and data, and prepare management reports on compliance and fraud and corruption issues.
  • Draft and maintain the suite of ethics, compliance, risk management, and other governance policies and procedures.
  • Support the delivery of the enterprise risk management framework and internal audit function, including maintaining risk registers and providing advice on fraud and corruption risks.
  • Provide secretariat support, including preparation of agendas, minutes, and coordination and quality review of papers.
  • Support the functional and administrative operation of other governance and compliance processes, as required.

Essential Criteria

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications, industry certifications, and/or equivalent experience in corporate governance, compliance, risk management, and investigations.

Compensation Package

The estimated salary for this position is up to $64/hour + Super, with hybrid work arrangements (WFH + Sydney CBD office) and an immediate start.
