Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert guidance and support to project teams on health, safety, and environmental matters.
  • Ensure compliance with Multiplex's WHS&E requirements by conducting regular audits and inspections of subcontractor performance.
  • Develop and maintain accurate records and databases to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Interpret and implement relevant legislation, certification systems, and industry standards on the project.
  • Lead by example and mentor junior team members on the importance of safety and compliance.
Requirements
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills to partner with stakeholders on site.
  • Ability to monitor and report on subcontractor performance.
  • Sound knowledge of applicable legislation, Codes of Practice, Australian Standards, and other relevant documentation.
  • Proven experience in the building/construction industry and a qualification in OH&S (Cert IV or equivalent).
