HSEQ Coordinator

Job Summary:
Ignite is seeking a highly skilled HSEQ Coordinator to join our team. As an HSEQ Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring safety, quality, and environmental compliance across all project sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct safety, quality, and environmental inspections to ensure consistent adherence to site setup procedures.
- Assist staff, site teams, and contractors in complying with relevant legislation, standards, and contractual arrangements.
- Support the HSEQ Manager in delivering the Safety Management System, including policies, procedures, manuals, and practices.
- Act as a company representative for all WHS matters.
- Proactively assist work teams in implementing and embedding health and safety work plans.
- Keep up-to-date with legislative changes and continuously review and improve policies and procedures.
- Monitor compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
- Provide workplace safety, health, environmental, and quality support and advice to the Senior Management Team and staff.
Requirements:
- Minimum Cert. IV in workplace safety.
- Knowledge of HSEQ processes and previous experience in a similar role.
- Demonstrated unwavering commitment to health and safety.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced office environment.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Related industry experience, particularly in commercial and civil construction.
- Current driver's license.
- National Construction General Induction Card (All States Recognized).
