Key Role: Business Development Expert

The role of a Business Development Manager plays a pivotal part in driving strategic business growth across various industries. This role is responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities while maintaining existing client relationships to ensure satisfaction and service excellence.

Principal Responsibilities:
  • Identify and develop new business prospects within diverse sectors.
  • Lead the sales process including market research, opportunity qualification, proposal development, presentations, and negotiations.
  • Respond to tenders, EOIs, and RFPs by creating high-quality submissions that align with client needs and capabilities.
  • Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers in client organisations.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to deliver tailored solutions.
  • Manage an accurate sales pipeline and reporting using CRM systems.
  • Represent the organisation at industry events and conferences.
Essential Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in sales or business development, preferably in related fields.
  • Demonstrated success in securing long-term contracts in competitive environments.
  • Strong understanding of remote site operations and unique challenges of servicing FIFO or DIDO workforces.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Commercial acumen and ability to create financially sound proposals.
  • Familiarity with tendering processes and contract negotiation in target sectors.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Attributes:
  • Prior experience in hospitality, logistics, or camp management sales or operations.
