Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and organised Bid Writer, and other associated roles, to join our team in Perth, WA. This is a temporary, full-time position that will support our business growth by managing the bid process for new road projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and manage the bid process from start to finish, ensuring all deadlines are met and all bid requirements are fulfilled
• Collaborate with various departments and teams to gather information and develop bid proposals
• Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential bid opportunities
• Maintain and update the bid database and files
• Prepare and review bid documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company standards
• Communicate with clients and stakeholders to understand their needs and requirements
• Coordinate and participate in bid meetings, presentations, and site visits
• Monitor and track bid progress and provide regular updates to management
• Assist in developing and implementing bid strategies to increase success rates
• Support the team in other business development activities as needed
  
  

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in bid writing or a similar role within the construction industry
• Strong understanding of the bid process and experience managing bids for infrastructure projects
• Excellent project management and organisational skills
• Advanced written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and bid management software
• Knowledge of the Western Australian roads industry is preferred
