Are you looking for a challenging role that combines sales and business development skills?

This position is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team as a Business Development Officer.

  • This role will support business activities located in the South of Perth region, implementing approved sales initiatives within agreed timeframes and budget constraints.
  • You will regularly monitor engagement activity to ensure continuous results, maximising sales and service satisfaction.
  • The successful candidate will drive business growth and meet KPI targets through building effective relationships with key stakeholders, developing new partnerships, and realising contractual benefits across numerous external partnerships.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • You should have a background of implementing effective business development strategies with a focus on revenue growth.
  • Demonstrated experience in Business Development, Account Management, Sales and/or Marketing is highly desirable.
  • A strong ability to create and leverage your own sales plan that contributes towards the overall departmental objectives in a targeted and consistent manner is essential.

To succeed in this role, you will need a strong understanding of political nuances, excellent relationship building skills, and the ability to develop and nurture key decision makers.
