Role Overview

A customer-focused business growth specialist is required to join our organization, creating strategies and leading their execution to increase sales from commercial relationships and technical specifications within the Australian market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Bulk Sales Identification: Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand our footprint in onshore & offshore markets.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with Owners, Operators, EPCs, and contractors to understand their needs and project requirements.
  • Strategic Sales Approach: Develop and implement sales strategies that align with industry trends, market demands, and company objectives.
  • Project Coordination: Track major projects from early design stages to procurement and execution, ensuring we are well-positioned to supply solutions.
  • Commercial Consultation: Provide technical and commercial support, collaborating with internal teams to deliver solutions tailored to customer needs.
  • Market Intelligence Analysis: Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory developments to identify risks and opportunities.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including sales, engineering, and marketing, to ensure seamless execution of business strategies.
Requirements
  • At least 5 years prior experience in direct technical business selling preferably in the oil and gas industry.
  • Engineering Degree or Equivalent Qualification.
  • Able to carry themselves professionally to build relationships at different levels – C-suite and operations level executives, as well as with internal stakeholders.
  • Must be comfortable travelling domestically for work purposes.
  • Demonstrated strong sense of achievement in their line of work.
  • Comfortable working independently and proactive in reaching out when in need of support.
