Inbound Sales Specialist

About the Role
We are seeking an Inbound Sales Specialist to join our Sales team at Too Good To Go in Melbourne. As an Inbound Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for turning interest into passion by contacting stores and selling our surplus food marketplace to them. You will be at the forefront of our expansion efforts across Australia, engaging with restaurants, cafes, convenience stores, and bakeries who have shown interest in our platform.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Negotiation and persuasion: educate and empower stores to join Too Good To Go and fight against food waste together.
- Converting and developing partnerships: optimise new sales processes, sales coaching, data analysis, and find synergies with other teams.
- Promoting the value of Too Good To Go: deliver the value of our platform and benefits to potential customers, establishing relationships and building strong rapport.
- Effective selling: use customer service techniques to identify store needs and curate the best setup for them.
- Onboarding and training: successfully onboard and train stores and their employees to set them up for long-term success in using our platform.
- Follow-up: keep the relationship with the store for 4 weeks to ensure they are fully set up to enable them to hit the ground running and maximise their impact.
Requirements
- Experience working within a sales environment, especially over the phone.
- Fantastic speaking and listening skills with the ability to quickly connect and establish a relationship with potential partners.
- Zero fear of the phone and the tenacity to keep trying when things get tough.
- Rigorous and organised: prioritise well and keep track of your pipeline.
- Data-driven, with experience working with a CRM and basic knowledge of Excel.
- Independent: know how to schedule your time to help you juggle multiple projects.
- Team player: know how to create synergy with other areas of the business to help fight food waste together.
- Full Australian working rights (no working holiday visas).
