We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate professional to join our team as a Youth Support Worker. The successful candidate will provide individualized support to young people who are homeless or at risk of experiencing homelessness.

  • Provide a safe and nurturing environment for residents, assisting with daily living tasks and promoting independence.
  • Complete comprehensive intake and risk assessments for all young people, maintaining accurate records and reporting as required.
  • Collaborate with the team to develop and implement case management plans, ensuring young people access necessary support services.
  • Support the living skills program, running group work sessions and promoting healthy relationships.

  • Tertiary qualification in social sciences, welfare, or a related field, with a degree qualification preferred.
  • Current and valid NSW Working with Children Check, NSW Drivers licence, and First Aid Certificate.
  • Knowledge of youth homelessness, crisis intervention, and ability to collaborate with other program areas.
