Position Summary

Heat and Control Inc. is seeking a skilled Sales Representative to join our team in Sydney. As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for building relationships with new customers and fostering relationships with our key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Reporting to the Business Manager – Packaging and Inspection Systems, this role requires someone who will be able to adapt to the unique requirements of the position.
  • You will be responsible for developing and opening new markets, as well as selling capital equipment to our customers.
  • A credible communicator with the ability to liaise with a wide range of stakeholders, you will have the ability to add value to our team and contribute to our continued growth.

Required Education and Experience

  • 4+ years' experience in the sales and marketing of technical/engineering equipment, preferably in the food processing and/or packaging industry.
  • Demonstrated pipeline management, sales, customer relationship management (CRM), and account management experience essential.
  • Mechanical qualification/aptitude is essential for the success of the role. However, proven years of experience without qualifications will be considered.
  • Track record of consistently reaching sales targets.
  • Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Intermediate to advanced level of computer literacy and experience with CRM reporting.
  • Initiative to act beyond specific job responsibilities to achieve objectives.
  • Ability to prioritise and effectively manage time to optimise the time spent in achieving objectives.

Work Environment

  • Working within the Sales Team at our Sydney office, located at Northmead, Sydney.
  • Free onsite parking.
