Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Behavioural Support Professional to join our team. As a Behavioural Support Practitioner, you will play a vital role in providing individualised support to clients with complex needs.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Work collaboratively with clients, their families and carers to develop and implement behaviour support plans.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' behaviours of concern, identifying underlying causes and developing strategies for reduction.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, their networks and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Provide training and education to clients, families and carers on PBS principles and strategies.
  • Participate in regular supervision, team meetings and professional development opportunities to ensure high-quality practice and continuous improvement.

Requirements:
  • Registration as a Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner under the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).
  • Tertiary qualifications in an allied health, human science or education field such as psychology, behaviour analysis, social work, teaching/early childhood care, social sciences, criminology, counselling, occupational therapy, speech therapy or nursing.
  • Current driver's license and reliable vehicle for travel to client sites.
  • Ability to obtain required clearances, including NDIS, Working with Children and Police Check.
