Women's Designer Category Specialist

The successful candidate will play a pivotal part in shaping the women's Designer category, curating a selection that reflects the latest trends and meets the evolving needs of our customers.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and passionate specialist to join our dynamic commercial team and contribute to driving sales, maximising profit, and ensuring adequate stock levels. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, be able to negotiate favourable terms with vendors, and maintain accurate records of vendor details.

The Women's Designer Category Team works closely with the Planning Team to drive sales, manage inventory, and ensure that ranges engage our customer. As a key member of this team, you will:

  • Drive company-wide strategies and OKRs
  • Conduct market research and make recommendations on product and/or brand selection
  • Monitor inventory levels and maintain adequate stock levels
  • Evaluate vendor performance and assist in the selection and deactivation process
  • Negotiate favourable terms and conditions for contracts with vendors
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations
  • Identify emerging trends and source new products that resonate with our customers

About You:

  • Prior experience as a Buyer working in a high volume business
  • Skilled in Excel reporting (including pivot tables and v-look ups)
  • Strong communication skills and a great eye for detail
  • A strong team player who embodies our Principles
  • A love for all things women's fashion
