About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated graduate with a strong academic background in science, chemistry, engineering or safety disciplines to join our team as a Graduate Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Professional.

  • You will be responsible for conducting site inspections, performing HSE assessments, managing asbestos and hazardous materials, handling hazardous chemical and waste management, ensuring safety in confined spaces, heights, fire risks and traffic management, assessing properties impacted by natural disasters, and monitoring air contaminants.

This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the field of HSE and work closely with clients to manage risks at commercial buildings, industrial sites and major retail facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Conduct site inspections and perform HSE assessments to identify potential hazards and risks.
  2. Manage asbestos and hazardous materials, including handling and disposal.
  3. Handle hazardous chemical and waste management, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  4. Ensure safety in confined spaces, heights, fire risks and traffic management.
  5. Assess properties impacted by natural disasters and develop strategies to mitigate risks.
  6. Monitor air contaminants, including asbestos, dust, chemicals, microbiological hazards, noise and indoor air quality.
About You
  • A degree in science, chemistry, engineering or safety disciplines.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to learn client-facing situations.
  • Strong report writing skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience in customer service is highly regarded.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to deliver results.
  • Confidence, curiosity and adaptability to a reactive environment.
  • A current driver's license and access to own vehicle.
  • A valid authority to work in Australia.
  • Solid understanding of Microsoft Word and Excel.
